Kryshar came to be at the end of the Napoleonic Wars, which lasted from 1799 to 1815. As this page
isn't going to be about the Napoleonic War, I will not be going into great detail about it. However, there are some things that are essential to know about the Napoleonic Wars before I talk about the creation of Kryshar. The French Empire was at that time led by Napoleon Bonaparte. He wanted to expand the French Empire, so he fought against all of the other nations. He took over region after region, but finally, in 1815, the French lost the long war and had to give up the land which they had previously claimed. Soon after that, a group of people from various countries like Germany and Britain who have fought especially hard against the French decided to claim a piece of land, slightly bigger than Switzerland for themselves when the land was redistributed and given back to the previously conquered countries. Another surge of people joined from France, who didn't agree with the way Napoleon ruled the nation. All of these nations mixed together to create a brand-new country: Kryshar.
And so, on the 5th of September, 1815 Kryshar was founded. At first there was no government whatsoever to speak of. It was almost like a complete anarchy for the first couple of years. Then finally, England took notice of the new country forming and in search for new land to colonize, they made an offer: they wanted to start a colony in Kryshar. The original plan of the British was to attack and invade; however, several British soldiers live in Kryshar already. That's why England offered to colonize the northern part o Kryshar for 25 years. It was a friendly offer and with their help the people that settled in Kryshar would be able to build a stable country. The British then cooperated with the people that founded Kryshar and made them the new Royal Family of Kryshar, taking after the Britain and their monarchy. Like mentioned in the political section before, these monarchs had absolute power. Britain then founded the capital of the country, called Averin as part of their colonization. For a while, the capital flourished under the British influence in comparison to the other towns. But slowly and surely, all of the other towns also grew bigger and more powerful, becoming more similar to how the towns look nowadays. No one dared attack Kryshar while the British were there for the 25 year agreement. During that time, Kryshar set up trade agreements with Switzerland and other countries around them, but most of all Switzerland. After Britain left Kryshar be when the agreement expired, then Kryshar continued on trading with Switzerland. When other countries were about to invade this country, the soldiers were always beaten back with Switzerland's help.
In the year 1875, everything seemed to go downhill however, when Queen Janine took over the crown after her father's death. She was a selfish ruler and abused her right to absolute power. The country's economy started dropping and the citizen's lives started to become harder and harder. Finally, the people started a revolt and made the current Queen resign from her position. That was the start of the constitutional monarchy in the country. People didn't want to get rid of the Royal Family, but they didn't want them to have absolute power, therefore they have the Prime Minister.
Then World War I and World War II rolled along. By then Kryshar has become a formidable country and made a name for itself. Throughout both wars, Kryshar stayed completely neutral and refused to take a side with any country so that they wouldn't harm their own citizens. During World War II, Kryshar kept their borders open for anyone who was fleeing from their own country for safety. This is why a lot of Jews fled to Kryshar when they were being hunted. Other refugees could also start a new life in Kryshar. This is also why Kryshar is a mix of different cultures.
Up until this day, Kryshar is open to everybody, no matter what culture or religion the person is.
